Job summary

American Management Group, LLC (AMG) in Raleigh, NC, seeks a hands-on Manager of Finance & Accounting to lead accounting operations, ensure GAAP/CAS/DCAA compliance, and direct budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting for a multi-site organization.

The MF&A will supervise AP, GL, payroll, cash flow, year-end audits, and ERP systems such as NetSuite or Costpoint, interfacing with auditors and management.

Qualifications

• BA in Finance or Accounting is required; MA preferred.
• 7–10+ years of professional management experience.
• Experience with financial statements, budgeting, and financial planning.
• Experience with government contracting accounting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the finance and accounting department and supervise up to 5 staff.
• Ensure GAAP, CAS, and DCAA compliance; manage audits and tax interface.
• Oversee AP, GL, payroll, revenue recognition, and cash management.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and reports.
