Thrivent is offering a 12-week Accounting/Finance Internship designed to give college students hands-on experience within a Fortune 500 financial services organization. The intern will gain exposure to multiple business areas while supporting reconciliations, journal entries, analyses, and internal controls reviews.

Currently a Junior (Dec. 2026 or May 2027 graduation date) in an undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance
GPA 3.0+ required
Strong organizational and communication skills
Open to a hybrid work environment

Responsibilities

Support month-end close processes
Prepare journal entries and reconciliations
Assist in financial analysis and internal control reviews
Build insights for processes, systems, trends and results for decision-making
Support audits materials preparation
Collaborate with business partners and teams to meet needs
Initiate operational improvements and communicate changes
Assist with other projects as assigned
