Job summary

The Staff Pad is seeking an experienced Accounting/Finance Analyst in Dallas to join a high-growth team focused on cloud-based solutions. You will support diverse functions including accounting, financial reporting, payroll, and HR initiatives.

Reporting to the CFO, you will assist with GL activities, income statement and balance sheet reporting, and SAP data entry. This is a full-time in-office role with extensive cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Accounting preferred.
• 2+ years of professional accounting and/or finance experience.
• CPA preferred.
• SAP experience required.
• Financial reporting and General Ledger experience.
• Knowledge of Income Statement and Balance Sheet accounting.
• Cash management and account reconciliation experience.
• Payroll processing and employee payroll transaction experience.
• Experience generating and analyzing ERP financial reports.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver recurring financial and management reports.
• Assist with Income Statement and Balance Sheet preparation, review, and analysis.
• Support cash management activities including reporting, monitoring, and reconciliation.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
• Maintain the General Ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial transaction reviews.
• Identify financial trends, variances, and unusual transactions and provide analysis.
• Develop, maintain, and distribute SAP financial reports.
• Review payroll information for accuracy and completeness prior to processing.
• Process employee payroll updates, including new hires, compensation changes, and deductions.
