Job summary

Steffes Solutions, LLC is seeking a Financial Accountant to support the finance team with daily accounting tasks of moderate difficulty and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting. The role emphasizes GAAP proficiency, ERP and payroll system familiarity, and collaboration with customers and suppliers.

Responsibilities include month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, and preparing analytical reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Proficient in Excel (Advanced) and general computer skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Manufacturing/inventory background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in month-end close processes and prepare journal entries and accruals.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and perform account analyses.
• Monitor inventory-related transactions and reconcile stock movements.
• Assist in external tax reporting and annual audits.
• Update standard operating procedures and contribute to process improvements.
