The Senior Accountant is responsible for performing advanced accounting functions in support of Moffat County School District RE-1’s financial operations. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with governmental accounting standards, and effective support of payroll and accounts payable processes. The position works closely with the Executive Director of Finance and plays a key role in maintaining fiscal integrity across the District.
Salary: $50,000 - $80,000. Actual placement on the salary schedule is based on experience and education.
PERA retirement, paid time off, and other optional benefit elections. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week as defined by their position are also eligible for the district’s health insurance.
