Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Final QC Inspector to perform final verification and inspection of finished products to ensure quality and compliance before shipping. The role involves maintaining strict QC processes, analyzing defects, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include inspecting finished goods, sub-assemblies, and packaging, reviewing defects, initiating NCRs, and documenting findings with accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or technical certification in Quality Control, Manufacturing Technology, or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-620 quality standards and cosmetic specifications.
• Familiarity with general manufacturing processes and ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform final visual and electrical/mechanical inspections on finished goods, sub-assemblies, and packaged products.
• Review defects found during inspection, initiate non-conformance reports in the Quality portal, and coordinate with production and quality engineers for correction.
• Interpret test results and compare against specifications, cosmetic specs, and control limits.
• Ensure products meet workmanship requirements including packaging, labeling, cosmetics, and correct customer order counts.
• Stop production line and escalate severe quality incidents to Quality Manager/Engineer as necessary.
• Document inspection findings, test data, and non-conformances in quality logs or digital tracking systems.
• Ensure proper document control and record practices.
