Job summary

Staffmark is hiring an Order Quality Auditor in Cincinnati, OH. You will be the final quality checkpoint for customer shipments, using precise measuring tools, audits, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with customer requirements.

The role requires reading blueprints, attention to detail, and the ability to stop shipments when discrepancies are found. Collaboration with multiple teams helps maintain quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience inspecting manufactured products to quality standards.
• Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, or inspection documents.
• Knowledge of precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and measuring devices.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and document inspection results accurately.
• Barcode and scanning technology usage is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct final quality audits of customer orders before shipment
• Verify product accuracy, quantities, documentation, labeling, and customer-specific requirements
• Serve as the final approval point for shipments, ensuring all quality standards are met and stopping shipments when discrepancies are identified
• Follow established quality procedures, maintain audit records, document issues, and verify corrective actions prior to release
• Validate order quantities using physical counts, system records, and shipping documentation, investigating and resolving all discrepancies
• Review shipping paperwork, labels, certifications, and customer-required documentation for accuracy and compliance
• Ensure orders are properly identified, segregated, packaged, and shipped according to customer and company requirements
• Identify recurring quality issues, investigate root causes, and recommend process improvements to prevent future errors
• Collaborate with warehouse, shipping, quality, customer service, and operations teams to maintain shipment accuracy and customer satisfaction.
