bioMérieux is seeking a microbiology laboratory professional in Missouri to support testing of disposable cards, set up Vitek cards, and perform environmental monitoring. You will ensure aseptic practices, accurate documentation, and compliance with cGMP standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include test execution, product inspection, inventory management, and collaboration with QC on projects. Training on automated systems and adherence to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 3+ years experience in microbiology or clinical laboratory.
• 4-year degree in biology, microbiology, or related field preferred.
• Environmental Monitoring experience preferred.
• Experience with VITEK 2/2XL, VITEK Compact and/or VITEK REVEAL preferred.
• Experience with TECAN or other automated sample preparation systems preferred.

Working Hours: Sunday-Wednesday, 06:00-16:30

Position Summary

Using good aseptic lab practices, is responsible to support testing of disposable cards through set up of Vitek cards and physical inspections of lots. Perform environment testing as well, and ensures proper documentation according to cGMP's and current procedures. Perform all duties using safety conscious practices.

Qualifications

Required Education, Training and Experience

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• 3+ years of experienceworking in a microbiology or clinical laboratory

Preferred Education, Training and Experience

• A 4-year degree in biology, microbiology, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience with Environmental Monitoring preferred.
• Experience with VITEK 2 / 2XL, VITEK Compact, and/or VITEK REVEAL preferred.
• Experience with TECAN or other automated sample preparation systems preferred.

• Must be able to work in refrigerated environments for extended periods.

The hourly pay rate for the role starts at $23/hr. This role is eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and individual performance per bioMérieux's bonus program. This range may differ from ranges offered for similar positions elsewhere in the country given differences in cost of living. Actual compensation within this range is determined based on the successful candidate's experience and will be presented in writing at the time of the offer.
