Job summary

Tractor Supply Company in Central, LA is seeking a part-time Delivery Driver - Final Mile to deliver purchased merchandise to customers, ensuring safe delivery and a Legendary Customer Experience. You will operate a delivery vehicle, load and unload goods, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and coordinate with store personnel to meet customer needs, while upholding all safety and traffic laws.

The ideal candidate has a valid driver's license, at least 3 years of driving experience, a DOT

Qualifications

Experience: Previous truck delivery experience is a plus but not required. Experience with hand truck, dolly, pallet jack and forklift preferred.
Must be 21 years of age or older, have at least 3 years of driving experience and meet MVR check requirements.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Professional Certifications: DOT Medical Card as required

Responsibilities

Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Ensure timely deliveries, meeting or exceeding scheduled delivery times.
Operate and maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle and equipment including a trailer at times.
Load, unload, and organize products safely.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections for safety and readiness.
Communicate with customers, providing updates or addressing concerns during delivery.
Provide exceptional customer service and a positive experience for all customers.
