Job summary

Erdrich is seeking a Machine Operator Final Inspection (m/f) to support a high‑volume production line in Georgia. You will operate and monitor machines, release parts after inspection, ensure compliance with QA plans, and maintain a clean and safe work area per 5S guidelines.

The role requires basic measurement and office software skills, familiarity with ERP/CAQ systems, and the ability to read diagrams. Training will focus on safety rules, defect prevention, and efficient production to meet

Qualifications

  • Good PC knowledge (MS Office).
  • Knowledge in measurement technology and reading diagrams.
  • Knowledge in using ERP / CAQ systems.
  • Experience in metal working industry.
  • Basic knowledge using programming technology.
  • Knowledge in reading of diagrams.
  • Basic knowledge in automation technology.

Responsibilities

  • Install and operate machines in complete work area.
  • Control and monitoring of work area by supervisor/leader.
  • Organization of useful tools, production facilities, raw material and other appliances.
  • Training of support personnel.
  • Operating the machine only after training, assignment and clearing by machine setter.
  • Releasing serial production according to test plan of quality assurance.
  • Clearing the asset conforming to accident prevention regulation.
  • Tasks in complete work area.
  • Timely provision of products per requirement.
  • Ongoing monitoring of serial production per test plan and other requirements.
  • High-quality production per production management plan (PLP, work plan, resp. work order).
  • Start remedial actions when disturbances occur to grant continuous production (IMS/PLP/CAQ).
  • Release parts after 100% examination.
  • Package parts according to packaging instructions.
  • ASM/USM/Orderliness in complete work area.
  • Observation of HSE instructions and cleanliness in area of responsibility.

Machine Operator Final Inspection (m/f)
Target:

The position Machine Operator Final Inspection aims on gaining high customer satisfaction while following all customer requests. It is the position’s responsibility to deliver production/work order of its shift in a timely and technologically manner observing given data, quantities, timelines and standards of quality assurance and SGU while making best use of human resources as well as machines, production facilities a.s.o. Reduce external and internal complaints and avoid repeat errors due to expert working and handling the products conforming to standards. (KP 7.5 Production and Service Operation)

  • Obligation to report problems to the management of GE, PPL, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, internal clients and internal suppliers within the process

  • Test site, test devices, measurement equipment Process-related machines and equipment with appropriate data sheets (setup plans, diagrams, test plans, work plans, etc.)
  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, hearing protection required
  • Exposure to heavy sharp objects/Chemicals, PPE required (Safety shoes, Gloves, Safety Glasses.
