Textron Aviation in Wichita, KS, seeks a Final Avionics Technician A to test, repair, and integrate avionics and electrical systems on final production aircraft. You will work with radios, transponders, weather radar, and related components using schematics and specs.

Requirements include 3–5 years of aircraft avionics experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of test equipment, and a willingness to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment with strong quality focus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years aircraft experience including avionics troubleshooting and functional testing.
• High school diploma or equivalent certificate or bronze WorkKeys.
• Knowledge of electrical and avionics principles and test equipment.
• At least one year of fundamental avionics experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Test and configure electrical and avionics systems using orders, schematics and specs.
• Install and remove components and wiring for radios, altimeters, transponders, radar.
• Load system software and databases and configure as required.
• Use hand tools to adjust or restore systems per procedures and engineering.
• Guide or assist 3–5 employees in troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Ensure quality through meticulous testing and standards adherence.
