Job summary

Filtrona is seeking a Production Operator to monitor filter machinery and perform in-process quality checks to ensure compliance with customer specifications. The role emphasizes safe, efficient operations and accurate record-keeping across the shift.

You will work in a manufacturing environment, lifting up to 15 kg, standing for long periods, and potentially working overtime or Saturdays to meet production targets. Training on SOPs and safety standards will be provided.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of machine operation experience.
• Experience in a production/manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to follow SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production of filter machinery producing up to 6,000 filters per shift.
• Perform in-process quality checks to ensure products meet standards.
• Maintain accurate production records (output, downtime, waste, quality data).
• Keep work area clean and audit-ready (5S) and comply with safety policies.
• Support continuous improvement and report issues to Production/Quality Managers.
