Job summary

Central Christian Church is seeking a Filmmaker & Visual Storyteller to develop high-quality video content for weekend services, sermons, campaigns, events, and social channels. You will shepherd projects from concept through delivery, collaborating with the Creative Team to shape visuals that move people.

The role requires strong storytelling, hands-on filmmaking, mentoring volunteers, and meticulous attention to brand standards, color, sound, and pacing.

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio or demo reel in filmmaking and storytelling.
• Proficient in cinematography, composition, lighting, and audio capture.
• Excellent video editing with narrative pacing and emotional storytelling.
• Proficient with Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve.
• Working knowledge of Photoshop and visual design tools.
• Experience taking projects from concept through final delivery.
• Strong communication and collaboration with creative and non-creative teams.
• Ability to direct people on camera and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Create compelling, story-driven video content for Central Christian Church.
• Own video projects from concept to final delivery, including pre-, production, and post-production.
• Collaborate with Creative Team and partners to develop concepts and visuals.
• Plan and execute video productions with scripting, shot planning, locations, and talent.
• Direct and capture video with professional camera, lighting, and audio.
• Edit projects with strong storytelling, pacing, and sound design.
• Color grade and finish video content to maintain brand standards.
• Capture photography for campaigns and events when appropriate.
• Prepare content for weekend environments, YouTube, social media, and digital campaigns.
• Maintain organized project files and assets in the DAM system.
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with high creative excellence.
