Job summary

KPH Healthcare Services, Inc. in Syracuse, NY is seeking a pharmacy technician to accurately fill medication orders under supervision, label and package per prescription directions, and participate in inventory control and restocking.

You'll maintain clean workstations, verify NDCs, operate the RX computer system, complete mandatory regulatory training, and support daily pharmacy operations to ensure timely, safe dispensing.

Responsibilities

• Count, seal and label prescription cards
• Pull drugs and match NDC to prescription labels
• Return inventory to proper place
• Assist in upkeep and cleanliness of each work station and the facility
• Responsible for proper and accurate filling of each individual order
• Maintain and keep reasonable production as determined by supervisor
• Maintain all quality assurances as they are given
• Assist in keeping adequate stocking levels
• Knowledge of RX computer system
• Complete all mandatory and regulatory training programs
• Perform other duties as assigned

Scope of Responsibilities: Works under direct supervision and accurately fills medication orders.

Job Summary: Responsible for packaging medication orders per directions on prescription label. Ensure product is accurate and neatly packaged. Assist in inventory control, including handling credits and restocking inventory.
