Red Ball Oxygen Co., Inc. is seeking a night-shift fill plant technician in Shreveport, LA. This role operates 3:00 pm–12:00 am, Monday–Thursday, handling gas filling operations, safety procedures, and equipment. The ideal candidate is 18+, with a HS diploma/GED, able to read MSDS, and capable of frequent lifting and outdoor work year-round.

Red Ball Oxygen Co., Inc. is a privately owned distributor of Industrial, Specialty, and Medical Gases, welding and industrial equipment, and safety supplies. We have 22 retail operations in Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, and Oklahoma with packaged gas production capabilities in Shreveport, LA, Geismar, LA, Dallas/Fort Worth, TX and Houston, TX. We are looking for an outgoing, energetic, hardworking fill plant technician to join our team!This is a night time position. The hours for this position are 3:00 pm- 12:00 am (midnight) Monday-Thursday.A filler at Red Ball Oxygen must be 18 years of age with a high school diploma for GED equivalent. This person must be able to read and comprehend MSD. They will be regularly required to use their hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. Frequently required to stand, walk, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, crawl, and smell. Routinely lift 25-75 lb., occasionally lift >76lbs. Also, required to push/pull liquid containers weighing up to 1000 pounds to with the aid of material handling equipment.
