Job summary

Penn State Brandywine's Art Department seeks a part-time model for Intro Drawing courses conducted from observation. The model provides a full range of poses—standing, sitting, reclining, gesture, full figure, and portrait styles as needed by the lesson—and may be asked to pose for 2‑minute to 20‑minute intervals, with short breaks between sessions.

Experience is preferred but not required. The position pays $18 per hour; candidates should be reliable, punctual, and professional.

Qualifications

• Professional experience is preferred but not required.
• Models will need to be able to stand on a traditional model-stand (28" height).
• Our models do not have to be nude but will need to be in sportswear.
• Must be comfortable maintaining poses in front of a class.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and professional.

Responsibilities

• Provide a full range of poses and/or movements as required by instructor.
• Stand for short intervals of 2 minutes to 20 minutes with short (10-minute breaks) at the end of every 20-minute drawing session.
