Job summary

Citi is recruiting an Intern Analyst for the Financial Institutions Group (FIG) Corporate Banking team in Paris, France, starting January 2027. The 6-month program places you with a FIG team to gain hands-on experience in credit analysis and client-focused banking solutions.

You will support risk committees, prepare credit memos, and help develop relationships across Citi’s global network. Fluency in English is required; French and other languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a university that can provide an internship agreement.
• Student status and visa covering the whole internship period.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); French and additional languages are beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Credit analysis and financial and operational assessment of client performance.
• Prepare materials for Risk and Business approval committees (credit memos for annual reviews and episodic transactions).
• Support client relationship development and business origination across Citi products.
• Assist with ad hoc pitches (acquisition financing, capital markets, project finance, etc.).
• Develop banking relationships across Citi's geographical network and collaborate with Risk Management, Investment Banking, and Capital Markets Origination.
