Job summary

Lazard is seeking an Analyst in the Financial Institutions Group in New York to analyze client financials, run models, and perform industry research. You will assist in preparing client presentations and materials, and interact with senior bankers and clients in a collaborative environment.

The role requires one year of investment banking experience in FIG, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• One year of investment banking experience, preferably in FIG covering Insurance, Banking, Asset Management and / or FinTech.
• Strong analytical skills with training in the building of presentation materials and financial modelling.
• Proven academic excellence with excellent attention to detail and high standards of accuracy.
• Team player mindset; ability to work as part of a close-knit team.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate both to deal teams and external clients.
• Strong ability to multi-task.
• High level of responsiveness with a strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining a high-quality work product.
• Fluency in the use of AI tools and prompt engineering.
