Pacific Life’s Consumer Markets Division seeks a Field Wholesaler to cover Western Ohio. You will sell RILA, variable & fixed annuities and mutual funds to Independent, Banks, and Wirehouses through face-to-face and virtual visits, and foster broker/dealer relationships regionally.

You’ll work with internal teams, introduce new products, and speak at broker meetings while leveraging technology to support sales growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years direct sales/marketing in wholesaling variable/fixed annuities or mutual funds to wirehouses, banks and independent BDs.
• Licenses: Series 6 or 7, 63, and Variable Contracts required.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce and common business software.
• Strong presentation skills with ability to work independently and build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Engage with financial professionals across Independent Planners, Banks and Wirehouses.
• Represent Pacific Life's CMD lines: variable annuities/RILA, fixed annuities and mutual funds.
• Collaborate with Internal Wholesalers and Sales Management to drive results.
• Utilize a wide range of business tools and resources to support sales efforts.

Job Description:Pacific Life is actively seeking a talented Field Wholesaler to join Pacific Life's Consumer Markets Division (CMD) to cover Western Ohio. As a Field Wholesaler you'll sell RILA, variable & fixed annuities, and mutual funds to all channels (Independent, Banks, & Wirehouses) within the territory. Your colleagues will include both Internal and Field Wholesaling professionals. You'll develop and maintain ongoing relationships with financial professionals and key broker/dealers within the region via face-to-face and virtual sales visits. You'll also introduce new products through established and new broker/dealer partners. Finally, you'll attend and speak at national, regional, and office broker/dealer sales meetings.The Consumer Markets Division leverages its strengths in product development, technology, service, and risk management to create retirement solutions for individuals, families, and businesses. With the guidance of financial professionals, customers have access to an array of annuities and mutual funds designed to help grow assets and to provide retirement income for financial independence.How you'll help move us forward:Engage with Financial Professionals from 3 major distribution channels, including Independent Planners, Banks and Wirehouse firmsRepresent CMD's 3 core lines of business (Variable Annuities/RILA, Fixed Annuities and Mutual Funds)Work as part of a team, in partnership with an Internal Wholesaler, other Field Wholesalers and Sales ManagementEfficiently leverage wide array of business tools and resourcesThe experience you will bring:Bachelor's Degree5 or more years direct sales/marketing experience wholesaling variable and/or fixed annuities or mutual funds to Wirehouses, Banks, and Independent broker/dealer communityWorking knowledge of the Salesforce platform and other customary business software.Strong presentation skills, the ability to work independently and a track record of successOutgoing, adaptive, goals-based individual with exceptional interpersonal communication skillsSeries 6 or 7, 63, and Variable Contracts licenses requiredCompensation:Compensation for this role includes a base salary of $80,000, with commission and other incentive pay in addition to the base salary.Base Pay Range:The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location.
