Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. is seeking a Specialty Services Mechanical Engineer II in Orlando, FL. In this role, you will primarily act as a weld engineer, managing repair and upgrade projects in the field, ensuring quality compliance, and leading a welding training program.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Welding or Metallurgical Engineering along with a minimum of five years of relevant experience. Exceptional multitasking and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience in onsite turbine outage support.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
• Strong reasoning skills to analyze and solve complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Lead repair and upgrade projects in the field.
• Develop welding procedure specifications (WPS).
• Coordinate with multiple inner-company departments and vendors.
