Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic to intermediate welding experience from vocational training, apprenticeships, or on-the-job.
• Familiarity with welding safety protocols and proper equipment usage.
• Willingness to learn new welding processes and technologies.
• Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to work outdoors.
• Good communication to collaborate with teams and document work.
• Commitment to ongoing welding skill development.

Responsibilities

• Maintain MSHA certification and a valid driver’s license.
• Follow safety protocols and promote a safety-first mindset.
• Participate in Field Level Risk Assessments and safety observations.
• CDL preferred to support field transportation needs.
• Apply SMAW and FCAW techniques for quality welds across materials.
• Wear PPE and respirators as required for safety.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot welding issues on heavy equipment.
• Collaborate with maintenance and engineering to minimize downtime.
• Perform minor repairs on welding tools and equipment.
