Lexicon Inc. in the United States is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team and help build America. You will select equipment, lay out components, and weld with arc welding equipment, applying SMAW and FCAW processes while reading blueprints and structural drawings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years welding experience, preferably on construction sites.
• Must pass SMAW and FCAW certification tests.
• Able to read welding instructions and schematics.
• Familiar with blueprints and structural drawings.
• Able to read a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Select equipment and plan layout, assembly, and welding applying proper welding techniques.
• Lay out, position, align, and fit components together.
• Bolts, clamp and tack-weld parts to secure in position for welding.
• Set up equipment and welds parts, using arc welding equipment.
• May assemble parts by bolting.
• May repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts using cutting torch, straightening press and other hand tools.
• The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required.
