• CWI certification is preferred.

Job Profile

Our Production Welders are essential to our helical pile design and fabrication. They also offer support to the maintenance of DFI’s custom designed cranes as well as piling and industrial equipment.

Job Duties

• Fabricate and maintain piling and industrial equipment including
• Weld in the folowing positions to D1.1 Standards: GMAW - 3G & 4G, FCAW - 3G & 4G, SMAW - 3G & 4G
• Properly set up and use Oxy/ Acetylene Torch
• Read and interpret drawings/blueprints
• Document Welds in a Log
• Operate shop equipment such as; bandsaws, overhead cranes, forklifts, front end loaders
• Ability and willingness to perform field work as required
• Operate safely, in compliance with the DFI HSE program

Qualifications

• Experience in GMAW, FCAW & SMAW Welding Processes
• Experience cutting and capping piles
• Field welding experience is preferred
• CWI certification is preferred
• Must be able to pass a welding test
• Must be willing to travel for field projects and work in the shop when there is no field work required
• Flexible work schedule to accommodate production needs
• Previous leadership experience a strong asset
