Job summary

PG&E seeks an experienced supervisor to oversee Vegetation Management work on Electric Distribution or Transmission systems. You will ensure safety, quality, and contractor performance in the field, including approving scheduling changes and promoting a strong safety culture.

The role emphasizes cooperation with contractors, effective communication with field teams, and adherence to regulatory and company standards. Experience in utility line clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must maintain a Class C driver's license.
• Proficient in English; Spanish desired.

Responsibilities

• Liaison to Contractors to resolve obstacles safely, cost-effectively, and efficiently.
• Audit contractor vegetation crews for quality and safety.
• Ensure proper equipment usage and approve scheduling/ scope changes in field.
• Promote safety culture and document safety observations and good catches.
• May audit VM Inspectors and assist with training onboarding of Inspectors and contractors.
• Assist with incident investigations as a subject matter expert.
