Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of construction inspection on transportation projects or utility work.
• 4+ years of utility construction experience on transportation projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review NCDOT Utility By Other Plans.
• Coordinate and oversee relocation/installation of wet, dry, underground and overhead utilities.
• Inspect and document utility contractor operations on Division 11 projects.
• Review encroachments and complex utility plans.
• Review contractor traffic control.
• Perform routine material testing.
• Measure quantities for pay items.
• Maintain record documents including certifications and testing reports.
• Other related duties as assigned.
