Job summary

USIC is seeking field locate technicians in North Carolina to locate underground utilities and mark their positions in designated areas. You will work daytime, full-time, with overtime and on-call shifts as needed, using a company vehicle and field equipment.

No prior locating experience is required, though it helps; we provide 100% paid training, a comprehensive benefits package, and a clear career path with advancement opportunities through CPP and awards programs.

Qualifications

• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology and field equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen due to safety sensitivity.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities safely and efficiently.
• Mark locations and complete required documentation and photos.
• Full-time daytime shifts with overtime and on-call as needed.
• Operate using company vehicle and field equipment in coordination with team.
