Job summary

A leading utility construction firm is seeking a Field Worker in Allentown, PA. This role involves assisting crew members with underground and aerial utility construction, including pole setting and equipment maintenance. Candidates must be able to lift and carry heavy objects and wear safety equipment, with a valid driver's license. Previous labor experience is preferred but not mandatory. The position requires travel to job sites, and availability for overtime on weekdays or weekends may be needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift, reach, dig and carry heavy objects; with frequent lifting up to 50 pounds and infrequent lifting of up to 100 pounds.
• A valid drivers license is required.
• Pre-Employment Drug Testing.

Responsibilities

• Broom/Shovel/Flagging work assisting crew in underground or aerial utility construction.
• Assist crew members in setting poles, placing strand, cable and removing poles.
• Monitor and maintain condition of company equipment.
• Participate in daily job briefing and safety meetings.
