Job summary

Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP seeks experienced Utility Inspectors to oversee water-sewer utility construction projects in the Charles Town, WV area. Responsibilities include field inspection, plan interpretation, and coordination with engineers and owners.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma (Bachelor’s preferred) and 2–5 years of utility construction management experience. Proficiency with plans, reporting, and Microsoft Office is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read/interpret plans and specifications.
• Experience managing field inspections on utility projects.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspection of Contractor's operations to ensure compliance with contract documents.
• Inspect full scope of work including electrical and mechanical systems at pump stations.
• Prepare daily/weekly reports and maintain testing logs.
• Review pay estimates for accuracy with Contractor.
• Manage RFI and Submittal Logs and coordinate reviews.
