Job summary

General Atomics Systems Integration, LLC (GA-SI) seeks an experienced UAV operations professional to coordinate and execute ground and air operations, including mission planning, briefing and debriefing. You will serve as Instructor/Operator for UAVs and support flight test activities with strict FAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Requires a four-year technical degree or trade school equivalency.
• Minimum five years in UAV operation or aviation; equivalent military experience accepted.
• Must demonstrate understanding of UAV and FAA principles and concepts.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally and maintain FAA medical clearance.
• Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills with customers and teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee ground and flight operations including mission planning, briefing and debriefing.
• Operates UAVs as Instructor/Operator and supports flight test demonstrations.
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, service guidance and company procedures.
• Interact with military and commercial customers; travel as required.
• Maintain safety and procedural records per DCMA 8210 and company guidance.
