Job summary

Steve & Kate's Camp in Concord, NC seeks team members for our Field Trip program. You will chaperone field trips, supervise campers, and help maintain a safe, inclusive environment. You will travel by bus to multiple stops with the children, monitor safety and wellness, and follow camp policies.

This role emphasizes leadership, creativity, and teamwork in a playful learning setting. Applicants should be 18+, have experience with campers, and be CPR/First Aid certified.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Minimum of 2 months experience working with camp-age children, with 1 year preferred.
• First Aid & CPR certified prior to Day 1 of Camp (some locations may require additional certifications).

Responsibilities

• Chaperone field trips, make connections, and monitor safety and wellness.
• Travel by bus to multiple stops with kids.
• Actively supervising campers.
• Ensure compliance with Camp Policies.
• Reporting and recording details of notable concerns or incidents, and injuries to campers, other staff members, or self.
• Keep track of camper allergies and dietary restrictions.
