Job summary

Qualified applicants will have an appropriate associate or higher degree with options for substitutions, and may be evaluated for levels 8 through E10 based on education and experience.

Qualifications

• Possess an Associate's degree or higher in an applied science or science with required coursework, per listed options.
• Additional substitutions or certifications may qualify for higher levels per the job spec.
• Completion of specified credit requirements in structures, materials, soils, hydrology, surveying, design and related fields may substitute for an associate's degree.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction and quality control inspection activities to ensure highway/bridge facilities meet plans and specs.
• Review and document project records for compliance with standards.
• Provide engineering technical support, including materials testing, inspection, and compliance.
