Job summary

America West Medical Transportation, Inc. seeks professional drivers to transport wheelchair and stretcher patients in specially equipped vehicles. You may work independently or with a teammate, following routes and safety protocols.

Responsibilities include safe patient transport, using GPS and company software, delivering compassionate service, and on-call duties. Valid license, clean driving record, and English fluency required.

Qualifications

Valid State Driver's license required.
3 years of professional driving experience required.
Clean driving record (No more than 1 point)
Ability to pass a drug test and health screening including TB skin test and/or TB chest x-ray
Ability to pass a physical agility test
Ability to lift/maneuver 50 pounds
Fluency in speaking and understanding English, strong communication skills
Ability to drive to various locations
Professionalism
Ability to use apps and electronic devices

Responsibilities

Independently run medical transportation operations in a company vehicle
Ensure patients are transported safely from their home to place of service and returned home safely
Utilize company transportation software
Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families
Assume on-call responsibilities
Effectively communicate with leadership
Maintain vehicle cleanliness
