Job summary

Experis Technology Group seeks a Field Robotics Test Engineer to join the Field Operations & Test team in Dallas–Fort Worth, TX. The role focuses on testing autonomous and semi-autonomous robotic deployments, with emphasis on safety leadership and clear documentation of results.

Responsibilities include collaborating with engineering teams, executing test plans, maintaining a safe field environment, and performing routine maintenance and calibration of robotic systems in the field.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in field testing or robotics environments.
• OSHA 30 certification completed.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, robotics, agriculture, or related field (or equivalent).

• Collaborate with program and engineering teams to understand CONOP and planned use cases; design and execute tests.

Our client is seeking a Field Tester to join their team. As a Field Robotics Test Engineer, you will be part of the Field Operations & Test team supporting autonomous and semi-autonomous robotics deployments. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on test execution experience, strong safety leadership, and the ability to document and communicate technical results clearly, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:Dallas‑Fort Worth, Texas (Onsite)

What's the Job?

• Maintain a safe testing and fielding environment by championing company safety standards, industry standards, and regulations, and helping develop and enforce site‑specific protocols and safe work instructions.
• Collaborate with program and engineering teams to understand concept of operations (CONOP), planned use cases, and help design and execute tests that assess engineering and customer requirements.
• Document daily inspections, test procedures, results, findings, and maintenance activities; provide clear, concise, and accurate reports.
• Perform minor routine preventative maintenance and repairs, and work with engineering and support teams to calibrate, diagnose, and troubleshoot technical issues with robotic systems and equipment.

What's Needed?

• 5-7 years of experience
• Operations manager or other strong leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, robotics, agriculture, or a related field (or equivalent).
• OSHA 30.
