Job summary

Bristol Alliance of Companies is seeking a Telecom Installer I to establish and maintain telecommunications systems. This role involves installing voice and data networks, troubleshooting outages, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license. The position requires outdoor work in various conditions and may involve working at heights.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
Valid driver’s license is required.
Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is preferred.

Responsibilities

Install voice and data networks, including running and terminating cables.
Test circuits and equipment for continuity and service verification.
Document network configurations including labeling and routing equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair network outages.

Skills

Ability to work outdoors and in inclement weather conditions

Ability to read and interpret work orders

Mathematical calculations

Ability to work in confined spaces

Knowledge of first aid procedures and CPR

Knowledge of telecommunication installation practices

Education
