Day to Day Responsibilities

• Maintain computer and camera surveillance systems across a specified geographic region, including computers, data networks, digital video cameras, recorders, power supplies, and fiber optics.
• Install, update, and maintain hardware and software while ensuring precise asset accountability and detailed maintenance records.
• Apply advanced electrical theory to troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software issues, using diagnostic tools to calibrate and adjust electronic equipment to stringent specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
• Solid foundation in computers, data networks, digital video systems and fiber optics, as well as basic electronics principles.
• Strong understanding of telecommunications systems (transmission, broadcasting, switching, and control).
• Familiarity with circuit boards, processors, chips, and both hardware and software applications.
• Proficiency in use, repair, and maintenance of various machines and tools.
• Ability to obtain and maintain government‑issued security clearances.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Readiness to travel approximately 85% of the time.
