We are in need of a Laboratory Technician to assist with water testing. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of laboratory testing experience that includes total suspended solids, pH, alkaline titrations, turbidity, etc.

HAZWOPER TRAINING IS A HUGE PLUS

Responsibilities:

• Receiving and logging samples for testing
• Perform bench physical testing of water samples such as total suspended solids, total solids, BOD, pH, alkaline titrations, spectroscopy work, turbidity, oil and grease analysis
• Perform routine microbiological sample setup and transfers
• Record QA/QC readings of equipment and analytical procedures
• Calibrate lab equipment when needed
• Record results in LIMS database

Qualifications

• HS Diploma
• At least 1 year of laboratory environmental testing
• Must have strong communication skills
• Must be able to multi-task
