Job summary

Duke's Root Control, Inc. is seeking a Field Technician to join our Plymouth, MI team. This active, hands-on role requires learning and delivering inspection and rehabilitation services to keep utility systems functioning smoothly.

You will travel 50% of the time, with lodging and per diem provided. The position demands safety awareness, physical fitness, and a strong work ethic in diverse field environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in utilities, construction, or municipal work preferred.
• Willingness to travel 50% and work in various environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform manhole and sewer system inspections and rehabilitation, inflow and infiltration (I/I) assessments, smoke testing, flow monitoring, and other services.
• Assist with the setup of traffic control zones and ensure the safety of the job site.
• Work in confined spaces, enter manholes, and support rehabilitation work in challenging field conditions.
• Assist and collaborate with experienced Operators using advanced tools, trucks and technology such as CCTV camera trucks, push cameras, and/or combo vac trucks.
• Other duties as assigned.
