Job summary

Flock Safety in Atlanta is seeking a field installation technician to install, align, and service solar panels, cameras, and related infrastructure in outdoor environments. You will work on rooftops, ladders, and bucket trucks, performing deployments and ongoing maintenance with safety as a priority.

This role requires travel up to 25% and involves documenting work in a mobile app, managing inventory, and driving service vans.

Qualifications

Experience with low-voltage wiring and electrical assembly in field service.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors independently on routes.
Experience driving service vans and towing trailers safely.
Proficient with mobile apps to log service records and track inventory.

Responsibilities

Execute physical hardware installations and maintenance across camera systems, solar panels, batteries, and mounting poles.
Conduct site surveys with partners and owners to verify permits and traffic plans.
Prepare sites including post holes, mounting hardware, and camera alignment.
Diagnose and repair field hardware and basic underground wiring disruptions.
Document installations and service records via mobile app and manage local shipments.
Operate ladders, bucket trucks, and lifts up to 30 feet with safety.
Drive and tow equipment safely according to safety protocols.
