Job summary

Rentpeak in Gainesville, TX is seeking a Field Technician to service and install rental equipment across sites. You will coordinate deliveries, rig and move equipment, and ensure safety and efficient operation on job sites.

Responsibilities include maintaining logs, performing preventive maintenance on vehicles and gear, and collaborating with team members at rig locations. Some travel and on‑call availability are required.

Qualifications

• General carpentry, plumbing, electrical and housing troubleshooting knowledge.
• Customer service oriented.
• Generator experience is a plus.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varied weather.
• On‑call weekends/holidays/overtime as needed.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver well site accommodations and rental equipment to customer locations.
• Rig up/down well site surface rental equipment and housing quarters.
• Break down, load and reset rig site equipment during rig movement.
• Retrieve equipment from locations where rentals have stopped.
• Install semi‑permanent water and sewer systems.
• Respond to service calls and maintain safe practices.
