Job summary

Refined Technologies is seeking experienced Field Technicians in the Clear Lake, Texas area to support chemical services for refinery clients. You will handle hands‑on equipment, chemicals, and testing to ensure systems meet KPIs.

You will work in a fast‑paced, safety‑minded environment with travel up to 20% for training and site requirements. High school diploma plus technical training or an associate degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of refining or chemical plant experience.
• Technical aptitude and problem‑solving skills; ability to work with pumps, meters, and field equipment.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety, accuracy, and performance.
• Ability to work independently in the field while communicating effectively with teammates.
• Willingness to travel locally and regionally as required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or associate’s degree a plus.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, or be on call, depending on site requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot chemical feed and monitoring equipment at client sites.
• Conduct field testing to ensure chemical systems meet performance targets.
• Manage on‑site chemical inventory for supply reliability.
• Collect and analyze data to verify systems meet client KPIs.
• Collaborate with RTI technical team and refinery personnel for continuous improvement.
• Document activities, testing results, and performance metrics clearly.
