Job summary

Spectrum is seeking a Field Technician to install and repair services and educate customers on usage. This entry-level role provides training and a clear path to higher pay via a self-progression program, with 10% increases at each progression level and bonus for completing coursework.

Technicians work outdoors, travel to customer sites, and build relationships while solving technical issues using tools and software. A valid driver’s license and English fluency are required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Schedule: Ability to travel to customer premises and company facilities as needed.
• Language: Fluent in English.
• Technical skills: Proficient with computers and software; competent with hand tools.
• Abilities: Communication, professionalism, time management, organization, critical thinking, reliability.
• Driver’s license with safe driving record.
• Physical: Carry tools; lift up to 75 lbs; climb ladders; work outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair Spectrum services at customer sites.
• Educate customers on using installed services and devices.
• Diagnose and resolve basic technical issues in the field.
• Maintain safety and quality standards while working outdoors.
