Job summary

Spectrum is seeking a Field Technician to install and repair services, educate customers, and troubleshoot technical issues. This entry-level role includes comprehensive training and a path for progression, with pay starting at $20/hour and opportunities to grow through a self-progression program.

Field Technicians work outdoors, travel to customer sites, and use hand tools while building customer relationships.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Willingness to travel to customer premises, facilities and other locations as needed.
• Fluent in English.
• Proficiency with computers and software applications; able to use hand tools.
• Excellent communication, professionalism, time management, organization, critical thinking, and reliability.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record.
• Walk and lift requirements: lift up to 75 lbs, climb ladders, work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair Spectrum services for customers.
• Educate customers on service usage and best practices.
• Work outdoors in various environments and travel to customer sites.
