Job summary

EquipmentShare is hiring a Field Technician (Mechanic) to maintain and repair Pump, Power, and HVAC equipment at our Cincinnati, OH rental facility. You will manage work orders, monitor service intervals, order parts, and diagnose issues using diverse makes/models.

The role requires on-site work, travel to customer sites, and safe, proactive problem-solving. The position offers a weekday schedule with potential overtime and on-call compensation.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance/repair of Pump, Power & HVAC equipment.
• Ability to travel to customer job sites.
• Safety-focused workmanship and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track service intervals.
• Order parts and diagnose issues using equipment data.
• Determine root cause and corrective action quickly.
• Practice safe repair practices.
• Travel to customer sites for preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Troubleshoot failures and perform repairs at shop or customer sites.
• Set up and operate equipment at shop and on customer sites.
• Assist in training lower level technicians.
