Job summary

Papé Machinery, Inc. – Construction & Forestry Division, Kent WA is seeking an experienced Field Technician/Mechanic to diagnose and repair heavy diesel equipment at customer sites.

You will travel in a fully equipped service vehicle, perform high-quality maintenance, and interact directly with customers to ensure uptime and reliability. Requirements include 3+ years of experience, basic computer skills, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work with little supervision.

• 3+ years of experience diagnosing and repairing all brands of heavy diesel equipment.
• Basic computer knowledge required.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Must provide own tools.

What You’ll Do

As our Field Technician / Mechanic, you will work on construction and forestry equipment at customer locations to ensure that their equipment is running in peak form and maximizing uptime. Being a journeyman, we will count on you when a tough job needs to get done. Every day, picture yourself traveling the area in a fully loaded Pape’ service vehicle, performing top-notch work on equipment, interacting with customers, and knowing that they can count on you to get the job done right.

What You Need

• 3 or more years of experience diagnosing and repairing all brands of heavy diesel equipment.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Self-motivation and
• Ability to work under little or no supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Must provide own tools.

Compensation:

$24.94-36.16/hr (Depending on Experience)
