Pape’ Machinery, the premier capital equipment dealer in the West, is seeking an experienced Field Technician to join their Sparks, NV team. You will work on construction and forestry equipment at customer locations to ensure peak performance and uptime.

As a journeyman, you will travel district-wide in a fully equipped service vehicle, perform top-notch work, and interact with customers who rely on you to get the job done right.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience diagnosing and repairing all brands of heavy diesel equipment.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Self-motivation and ability to work with little supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Must provide own tools.

Responsabilités

• Travel to customer locations to service equipment.
• Diagnose and repair heavy diesel equipment to keep uptime.

What You’ll Do

As our Field Technician / Mechanic, you will work on construction and forestry equipment at customer locations to ensure that their equipment is running in peak form and maximizing uptime. Being a journeyman, we will count on you when a tough job needs to get done. Every day, picture yourself traveling the area in a fully loaded Pape’ service vehicle, performing top-notch work on equipment, interacting with customers, and knowing that they can count on you to get the job done right.

What You Need

• 3 or more years of experience diagnosing and repairing all brands of heavy diesel equipment.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Self-motivation and
• Ability to work under little or no supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Must provide own tools.

Compensation: $34.48-51.72/hr (Depending on Experience)
