Our technicians spend their workdays always on the go, working independently in the field. Depending on the project you are assigned to, you will receive a vehicle allowance to use your own vehicle for work or be issued a company vehicle. Our company will provide almost all of the tools you could possibly need to perform your job safely and efficiently, including a laptop and high-tech tools specific to your job function. Some of these tools were made and manufactured right here at Heath Consultants! We are also inventors, ensuring you have all the resources necessary to be successful.
As a Gas Leak Survey Technician, you will be detecting, locating, and evaluating gas leaks and reporting leaks to the gas company.
Leak Survey Technician positions require continuous walking and working outdoors in varying weather elements. Along with walking, technicians may have to lift equipment, bend, kneel, and stand frequently throughout the day, which will require the use of both upper and lower body movements. In some cases, the technician may be required to lift up to 75 pounds. The ability to read (or learn to read) and understand utility maps may be required to complete daily tasks.
