Job summary

System One is seeking a Field Technician (Industrial Robotic Systems Operator) to perform in-field inspections at customer sites in Pittsburgh, PA, using robotic sensor equipment and wall-climbing robots.

You will operate the robots in industrial environments, service and repair electromechanical components between assignments, and complete trip reports and expense paperwork.

Candidates should have oil and gas or similar industrial experience and hands-on electrical and mechanical skills.

Field Technician (Industrial Robotic Systems Operator) – Pittsburgh, PA

We are seeking a field technician to perform industrial inspections using robotic and remote‑controlled sensor equipment (including wall‑climbing robots) and to service that equipment between assignments. In the field, you will operate the robots to carry out inspections. Out of the field, you will maintain and repair their electromechanical components – gears, motors, cameras, actuators, control boxes, and cables.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in oil and gas or similar industrial environments (e.g., field technician, field service technician, field robotics technician, industrial robotics service technician, electro‑mechanical technician, robotics operator, field inspection technician)
• Hands‑on experience with electrical and mechanical devices and tools
