Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a RVA CLS Field Technician 2 for the Minuteman III Wing location in Cheyenne, WY. The role involves inspecting, maintaining and repairing field equipment, with occasional travel and a 5/40 schedule, Monday through Friday.

The candidate should hold a High School diploma or equivalent, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance. Certifications for tower climbing and CDL Class B are preferred, with safety as a core focus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years of relevant experience.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
• Follow safety and security policies/procedures while on-site or in Laboratory.
• Follow technical guidance outlined in program maintenance manual.
• Ability to climb ladders, poles, towers.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 40 lbs) and work in varied environmental conditions.
• Safely operate all vehicles and equipment.
• Valid current driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting, maintaining and repairing system equipment.
• Assisting with the installation of program upgrades.
• Support performance tracking and maintain accurate documentation.
• Strict adherence with Environmental, Health & Safety standards.
• Monitor/replenish bench stock, supplies and critical equipment.
• Obtain certification to operate special purpose vehicles up to Class B, requiring a CDL.
• Maintain CPR and first aid certification.
• Follow directions to conduct on-site testing activities to verify functionality.
• Maintain qualification for tower climb certification.
• Operation and inspection of calibrated tools.
