Job summary

Advanced Compressor Technology (ACT) is seeking a Field Service Technician I to join our Pasadena, TX manufacturing team. This on-site role requires hands-on machining, CNC programming, blueprint reading, and precision measurement to produce high-quality components.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of related experience, fluency in English, and the ability to read mechanical drawings and use tools like micrometers and calipers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of related experience.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.
• Demonstrated basic math skills.
• Ability to use hand tools, machine tools, and precision measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints for product specifications, dimensions, and tolerances.
• Set up fixtures for lathes and mills.
• Utilize basic tooling for milling and turning operations.
• Inspect parts for conformance and maintain tolerances and efficiency.
• Program CNC machines according to machine language.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Complete inspection and records paperwork per department standards.
• Work independently and perform additional duties as required.
