A leading engineering consulting firm located in Houston, Texas, is seeking a Field Technician I to support project and laboratory managers. Key responsibilities include conducting field and lab tests, supporting the project team, and maintaining required certifications. Qualifications

• Possess current ACI and/or SB101-102 Certification.
• Ability to lift concrete, soil, or asphalt samples routinely.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License, safe driving record.
• Ability to tolerate year-round outdoor work.
• Ability to work nights and weekends if required.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License with no history of accidents or alcohol/drug related traffic offenses.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Manager and Laboratory Manager in client satisfaction.
• Perform field and lab testing and/or inspections.
• Document work on provided media and forms.
• Provides support to Project Manager and/or Laboratory Manager as needed

The Field Technician I will support the Project Manager, Laboratory Manager, or other staff as directed to assure client satisfaction following the applicable standards, specifications and company guidelines.

Ongoing Work

• Ability to Obtain/Maintain Certifications as Required
• Perform field and lab testing and/or inspections as assigned
• Documentation of work performed as appropriate on media and forms provided
• Provides support to Project Manager and/or Laboratory Manager as needed

Key Criteria/Requirements

• Possess High School Diploma
• Must have current ACI and/or SB101-102 Certification
• Ability to lift concrete, soil, or asphalt samples as a routine part of the job
• Ability to tolerate year-round outdoor work
